Tanenholz & Associates Opens New Headquarters

It is with great excitement (and some nostalgia) that we are announcing the opening of our new Headquarters at 11200 Rockville Pike in Rockville, Maryland.

The Reason

It was a very hard decision to part with our beautiful downtown office, which we poured heart and soul into designing. The firm was founded in 2006, and we used small executive office spaces just for the management team until 2015.  Throughout that time, we staffed our document reviews either in the offices of our co-counsel firms, or in hastily acquired—and expensive—short term rentals.

In March of 2015 we took our largest leap as firm by moving into the 3rd floor of the 1100 H street location and our first in-house review center was born. As we continued to grow and the document review industry evolved, we soon needed an even bigger and more secure space.  In September of 2018, we moved upstairs to a nearly 3,000 sf suite on the 4th floor.  Look how excited we were!

But we are always looking forward, and yet again our needs have changed.  The Pandemic came, and we all adapted.  While we still love the concept of a collegial and collaborative “Case Room”, we no longer see the need for a physical one.  We have worked tirelessly to make our virtual review center every bit as effective and rewarding as our prior ones.  This was achieved not without bumps in roads, but through massive efforts by Charles and Regina (both seen and unseen) and great patience and perseverance by everyone on our team.

While the days of the physical review room may be dead, we will continue to adapt to meet the needs of our clients and team members. Attorney efficiency, quality of life, and data security remain our top priorities and we will keep improving on all fronts.

Now for the New Office Awesomeness

The new office space is really awesome!  We’ve come along away since our original office.

The entire lobby has just been redone in a brand new upgrade and our office was custom built for our needs.  I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves:

What’s Next?

While we are sticking with our current remote review operations, we will use the new office as a base to run our business operations, as a training center for new attorneys (or for attorneys in new roles), and for the occasional case launch or team get-together.

We are so excited to be settling into our new Maryland home. This beautiful new office will allow the firm to continue to grow for many years to come!
