Scott comes to the firm with over a decade of legal experience, including more than five years in the eDiscovery field. He has complex document review experience across all levels of eDiscovery in a wide range of litigation and government enforcement matters. Prior to joining the firm, Scott worked on several large-scale reviews, gaining significant expertise performing first and second level review, quality control, privilege review, and privilege log creation. He has also been instrumental in creating targeted searches and deposition preparatory materials.

Scott began his legal career as an associate at a boutique intellectual property law firm in the DC suburbs, focusing his practice on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the semiconductor and automotive fields. Previously, he spent five years in Japan working as a US Patent Attorney in the Tokyo offices of the Japanese patent firm Onda Techno.

Scott received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a J.D. cum laude from The University of South Carolina School of Law.
