Biography

Since joining Tanenholz & Marr, Karen provides eDiscovery services, performing first, second, and privilege level review, quality control and targeted search reviews to ensure accuracy in production sets. She has also contributed to the maintenance of contract management systems for a multinational corporate client. When Karen Hamilton joined the firm in 2020, she performed eDiscovery services including first, second, and privilege level review, quality control and targeted search reviews to ensure accuracy in production sets. During her time at Tanenholz & Marr she has been involved in several fact development projects and taken opportunities for training and certification to equip her for her increased role in project management.

Prior to joining Tanenholz & Marr, Karen had almost a decade of experience in the eDiscovery field and the use of Relativity. She has worked as a contract attorney on numerous large scale reviews for Am Law 100 firms, during which time she gained significant experience at first and second level review, quality control, privilege review, privilege log creation, and managing review teams. When outside the DC metro area, Karen coordinated and worked in a military VITA tax center serving the US Army and was involved in the Military Spouse JD Network.

Karen received her B.A. in history, M.A. in linguistics at Michigan State University, and studied in Florence, Italy at Centro Linguistico Dante Alighieri. She received her J.D. from Chicago-Kent School of Law.
